Back in 1991, in the St Louis Area, Dino English joined forces with Singer / guitarist Tony Vrooman as songwriting partners and formed the band "Vitamin A". Dino's primary instrument is the drum set; however, as a fellow songwriter with this project, Dino played guitar.

For this year's Dark Star Jubilee, Dino is getting much of the original band back together to perform Vitamin A material and original music created from other projects Dino participated in. ​ ​ Music from Dino’s “Shimmy Shack” project along with music from the Icons, a four-piece band from St. Louis which included Dino and featured now Director and Movie script writer, James Gunn as singer / lyricist (Guardians of the Galaxy and now CEO of DC Comics), will also be featured. ​ Help Vitamin A start the Saturday morning Jubilee festivities off by coming to the stage and checking out the stellar band featuring Dino English on guitar, Tony Vrooman on lead vocals and guitar, Kim Vrooman on backup vocals, original Vitamin A drummer Jerry Saracini (also of Forgotten Space), Rob Barnes on bass, and the illustrious Rob Barraco on keys.
